Summary:
Manage the execution of engineering, procurement and construction activities through the lifecycle of the project, below budget, on time and to the project requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate the project team in order to meet or exceed all Project Targets and objectives.
- Managing the work performance of self and team members, and developing alignment between team capability and the function’s business objectives
- Create and maintain strong relationships and clear lines of communication with key internal and external stakeholders
- Anticipate and be responsive to client and key stakeholder needs
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements and all company policies and procedures.
- Ensure an engaged and high-performing team through initiatives such as individual performance development reviews, career conversations and career development, succession planning, and remuneration reviews
- Managing project progress and adapting work as required
- Designing a risk mitigation plan
- Conducting project reviews and creating detailed reports for international headquarters
- Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
Requirements:
- 15 years post-graduate experience with 12 years site-based and a minimum 5 years in a project management role
- Experience in the management of multidisciplinary projects and project teams.
- Experience in managing safety, community, and IR.
- Proven experience managing contractual, legal, commercial and legislative compliance
- Experience in managing the delivery of major projects for contracting organisations
- Experience in developing, analyzing, and reporting on complex.
- project performance, compliance, and defects and/or nonconformance
- Knowledge of project management structure, plans and implications for project accountabilities
- Extensive knowledge of risk management procedures, processes and management tools
